Saydo AIIs there a brain dump app that actually turns what I say into a plan?
A brain dump app that turns the dump into a plan
Yes. Saydo is made for exactly that. Many people use it at night to get tomorrow out of their head in about 30 seconds: you talk through everything, and Saydo turns it into tasks, calendar events and reminders, each on the right day. Nothing is saved until you confirm it.
How it works
- Say everything, in whatever order it comes: "Tomorrow: gym at 7, send the invoice, dentist at 3, and book flights for the wedding."
- Saydo shows one item per thing, with the day and time it heard, and asks you to confirm.
- Events go to your calendar, tasks go to your list, and reminders are set for each.
What Saydo does
- One recording can hold many items. Each becomes its own task or event.
- Things with a time become calendar events. Things without one become tasks you can tick off.
- Saydo syncs both ways with Google Calendar on iPhone and Android, and with Apple Calendar on iPhone.
- By default you get a reminder 15 minutes before and one at the time. You can set up to three reminders per item, or just say it, like "remind me an hour before."
- Saydo shows what it understood before anything is saved. Nothing goes on your calendar until you confirm it.
- Your data is encrypted and used to run Saydo and to improve it. You can switch off "Help improve Saydo" in Settings, and you can delete your account at any time.
Questions people ask
How long can I talk for?
As long as you need. Most people say everything for tomorrow in about 30 seconds.
Does it keep what I said?
Saydo keeps the text of what you said with each item so you can see where it came from. Your data is encrypted, and you can delete your account at any time.
Can I use it without connecting a calendar?
Yes. Without a calendar connected, events and tasks live in Saydo and reminders still arrive.
