Saydo AIGoogle Assistant is gone from my phone. What app can I use to set reminders and calendar events by voice?
A Google Assistant reminders alternative for Android
Saydo is a voice planner for Android and iPhone made for exactly that job. Google began removing Google Assistant from Android phones on September 4, 2026. If you used "Hey Google, remind me" every day, say your reminders and plans to Saydo and it sets the reminders and adds events to your Google Calendar.
How it works
- Open Saydo and say it: "Remind me to call the pharmacy at 4, and dinner with Sam Friday at 7."
- Saydo shows each reminder and event it heard and asks you to confirm.
- Reminders arrive on your phone on time, and events appear in Google Calendar.
What Saydo does
- Several reminders can be said at once, and each gets its own time.
- By default you get a reminder 15 minutes before and one at the time. You can set up to three reminders per item, or just say it, like "remind me an hour before."
- Things with a day but no time get a reminder the evening before and again that morning.
- Google Calendar sync works both ways on Android and iPhone.
- Saydo shows what it understood before anything is saved. Nothing goes on your calendar until you confirm it.
- Saydo is free to download, and voice capture is not limited.
